Methodology

The comparison involves the Brickonomics tool, the Bricklink Easy Buy tool, and the Brick Owl Magic tool. The latter is not fully automatic, at each iteration we picked the top store. For all tools the following settings and assumptions were used:

• Shipping to the Netherlands;
• Only stores in the European Union (to avoid unfair comparisons due to import taxes);
• For every selected store the minimum buy and minimum lot average requirements must be met;
• For stores without shipping cost indication a flat rate of €10 was assumed.

Prices and availability fluctate all the time, so the numbers do not give a guarantee on the current pricing.
